Why Everstill exists

Most meditation apps want a sign-up before you've taken a single breath. Then comes a $70-a-year subscription to unlock the good sessions, and push notifications reminding you about your "mindfulness journey."

Opening an app to calm down shouldn't stress you out. So we removed everything that gets in the way: the account, the paywall, even the internet connection.

A whole practice, built in

21 guided sessions across meditation, sleep, breathwork, and focus. Start with a five-minute breathing anchor, or wind down at bedtime with a full body melt.

Let your thoughts land softly

A daily journal with gentle prompts and quick mood check-ins. Everything you write stays on your phone, where only you can read it.

Watch your practice take root

Streaks, minutes, and mood trends, all counted in your own timezone. A session at half past midnight still counts for the day you just had.

How it works

Three steps, then quiet

  1. Pick a session for how you feel. Whether you're anxious, restless, or wide awake at 3am, there's a practice for it.
  2. Follow along and breathe. The timer and animated breathing guide handle the pacing so you don't have to think about it.
  3. Check in when you're done. Log your mood, jot a line in the journal, and keep the streak going.

Your calm is nobody's business but yours.

Everstill makes zero network requests. There are no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Whatever you write in the journal, whatever mood you log, whatever keeps you up at night, it all stays on your phone and nowhere else. We couldn't read it if we wanted to.

FAQ

Questions people ask us

What happens to my data?

Nothing. It never leaves your phone. Journal entries, mood check-ins, and session history are stored on your device only, and deleting the app deletes them. The privacy policy is short because there isn't much to tell.

Does it work offline?

Yes, completely. Nothing in the app depends on a connection, so everything works in airplane mode or anywhere without signal.

Do I need an account?

No. There's simply nothing to sign up for.

Is this a subscription?

No. Everstill is free, with no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no ads. If that ever changes we'll say so plainly, here and in the App Store listing.

Why is it free? What's the catch?

Honestly, there isn't one. Everstill has no servers to pay for and collects nothing it could sell, so keeping it free costs us very little. It's the first app from a small studio, and we'd like you to trust the next one too.

Is Everstill medical or therapy advice?

No. Everstill is for general relaxation and wellbeing. It can't diagnose or treat anything, and it's no substitute for a clinician. If you're struggling in the U.S., call 911 in an emergency, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
