The period tracker that keeps your cycle to yourself.
Emberly lives entirely on your phone. No account, no cloud, no ads, and nothing for anyone else to read.
Most period apps run on accounts, clouds, and ad networks. Your cycle becomes someone's dataset, and the free download quietly turns into $40 a year.
If you've ever hesitated before typing something personal into a tracker, that hesitation was good judgment. Emberly is built for it.
Know what's coming
Period and fertile-window predictions that sharpen as you log, laid out on a calendar you can read at a glance.
Log a day in seconds
Flow, mood, energy, symptoms, sleep. Tap what applies, skip what doesn't, done before your coffee cools.
See your patterns
Cycle length, regularity, symptoms by phase. Computed on your phone, shown only to you.
Three steps, no setup ceremony
- Enter your last period date. That's the whole onboarding.
- Log the days you feel like logging. Every entry is optional.
- Watch predictions sharpen. Month after month, cycle after cycle.
Your data has nowhere to go.
Emberly has no servers, no account system, and no analytics. Everything is computed on your phone and protected by Face ID if you want it to be. Backups are files you save to your own iCloud Drive. We couldn't read your cycle data if we wanted to. That's the design, not a promise.
Soft on the eyes, quiet by design
One honest price
once, after a free month
- Every feature free for 30 days, one full cycle
- One payment unlocks Emberly forever
- No subscription, no renewals, nothing else to buy
- Backing up your data always works, purchase or not
The fine print, in plain words
Does my data ever leave my phone?
No. Cycle data, logs, and settings live in the app's storage on your iPhone. Emberly has no servers and makes no network requests with your data. The only party involved in a purchase is Apple, and they don't share your identity with us.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for, no email to hand over, and no password to forget.
Is this a subscription?
No. After the free 30-day trial, a single $9.99 purchase unlocks the app permanently. There is nothing that renews.
What happens when the free month ends?
The app asks you to unlock it. Your data stays exactly where it is, and backing it up remains available whether you purchase or not. We don't hold your data hostage.
Does it work offline?
Completely. Airplane mode, no signal, deleted your data plan: everything works, because nothing depends on a connection.
How do I move to a new iPhone?
In Settings, tap "Back up my data" and save the file to your iCloud Drive. On the new phone, tap "Restore from backup" and pick that file. Your purchase carries over through your Apple account with "Restore Purchases".
Will notifications show private details on my lock screen?
Not unless you want them to. By default, reminders use discreet wording that doesn't mention periods. You can switch to explicit wording in Settings.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds go through them: visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the purchase. Apple decides refunds under their policies.
Is Emberly medical advice?
No. Predictions are estimates based on the dates you log. Emberly is not a contraceptive, can't diagnose anything, and is no substitute for a clinician. If something about your cycle worries you, talk to a doctor.
