Frequently asked questions

How do I move my data to a new phone?

On your old phone, go to Settings → Export Data and save the JSON backup file (AirDrop, email, or cloud drive all work). On the new phone, install Form, then go to Settings → Import Data and select that file. Everything — habits, streaks, history, and checklists — comes across.

My reminders aren't showing up.

Check that notifications are enabled for Form in your phone's system settings. On Android, also make sure the app isn't battery-restricted. Reminders are scheduled on-device, so they work without any internet connection.

What happens to my streak if I miss a day?

It resets to zero — that's the whole game. If you forgot to log a habit you actually did, you can back-fill past days from the habit's calendar on the Habits tab.

When do weekly and monthly checklists reset?

Weekly checklists reset every Monday. Monthly checklists reset on the 1st of each month. Anything you didn't check off simply becomes unchecked again for the new period.

Is my data really private?

Yes. Form has no server, no accounts, and no analytics. Your data lives only on your device (and in any backup files you export yourself). Read the full Privacy Policy.

How do I delete all my data?

Settings → Clear All Data removes everything from your device immediately. Uninstalling the app does the same.
