Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Form ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. We've built the app to be as private as possible: in short, your data stays on your device and we don't collect anything.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server. The app does not include analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers, or telemetry of any kind.

All data you create in Form — habits, logs, streaks, checklists, settings, and your local profile name — is stored exclusively on your device using the operating system's local storage. We never see this data.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

• Your data lives in the app's local storage on your phone.
• It is not synced to any cloud, account, or external service by default.
• Backups you create using the "Export Data" feature are saved as files on your device or wherever you choose to put them. You control those files.
• If you uninstall the app, your data is removed by your operating system along with the app.

3. Notifications

If you grant Form permission to send notifications, those notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely by your device's operating system. We do not send remote push notifications, and no notification content is transmitted off your device.

4. Permissions

Form may request the following permissions:

• Notifications: to remind you about your habits at the times you choose. You can decline this and the app will still function.

The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, or health data.

5. Children's Privacy

Form is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected, the app is compliant with COPPA, GDPR-K, and similar children's privacy laws by design.

6. Third-Party Services

Form does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising networks, or social platforms. It does not contain trackers.

The one exception is entirely optional: if you choose to leave a tip from Settings → Support, the purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play using their standard in-app purchase system. Your payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies — the app never sees them, and we receive no personal information about you from the transaction.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store your data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. You have full control over your data through the app:

• Export: Download a complete backup of your data at any time from Settings → Export Data.
• Delete: Clear all data on your device from Settings → Clear All Data, or by uninstalling the app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, especially if we add features that change how data is handled (for example, optional cloud sync). When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
